Moses vs Antonio
Moses looked to have it sewn up early season and Antonio took a while to find his feet but I reckon Antonio has earned the spot with improving performances and goals. Plus Moses has been lazy as fuck since he got back from injury.

Thoughts?

It's a no contest at the moment.

Antonio has made the spot his.

Well done to the lad.

Re: Moses vs Antonio
Antonio gives us a physical presence going forward. he's still very raw and inexperienced but is clearly getting more comfortable and is always a threat. he always puts a shift in. I don't dislike moses but he's a bit inconsistent and can sometimes go missing or hide. he is a good squad player though for the rest of the season

Don't write off the Law Giver yet... still a excellent squad member

The key thing you said there was since he got back from injury, I definetly wouldnt call Moses a lazy player, just needs to get back up to speed, 4 me there not comparable its like comparing Muhammed Ali vs Mike Tyson, onces pace & trickery whereas the others relentless brute force, love em both

Pleased with both delighted Antonio is adapting to the Premiership and love his work rate.

Everyone says Antonio's raw, but even then he's more than pulling his weight in the team. You have to be excited about this lad's future. He could prove to be Bilic's second best signing.

Re: Moses vs Antonio
He's a superb outlet when attacking, simply cannot be bullied off the ball. The mix of his power with payets skill is a joy to behold and must be an absolute nightmare for the opposition. Was badly missed for most of the Liverpool game, his inclusion for the replay should help seal it.

Moses is more effective on the left and hasn't been playing there since returning from injury, though I prefer Antonio anyway.

Bearing in mind Antonio is our player then it's no contest really, would much rather see him given game time to develop than play someone who will fuck off at the end of the season.

Is this "championship standard at best" Antonio everyone is banging on about?

As eerie says, why even pose the question. It's gone way beyond that now. I don't mind Moses but will be pleased to see the back of him now.

The jury is still out for me.

Great work rate... Lacks that real quality though.

But is ahead of Moses in the pecking order without a shadow.

Antonio. Has talent and WORKS fucking hard.
Moses. Has talent. And not our player. And it shows.

It's quite simple.

Re: Moses vs Antonio
Antonio on form alone. And promise, actually.

But despite the revisionism on here, Moses isn't actually shit etc. He's just back from injury and hasn't really got running yet. Some (most) players aren't immediately at their best the moment they come back from injury - Payet is a freak!

Re: Moses vs Antonio
Antonio is a gem. He waited patiently for his chance and he didn't seem to moan or complain, his attitude seems spot on.

What a great squad we have now! Moses has a great deal to offer too, he's been off the boil but I think if they were both on form there's no reason why they can't be on the pitch at the same time. With everybody fit and playing well, it would be very difficult to pick a best 11.

Chant his name, he's earned that, but not a song.
